Looking for suggestions on what types of activities this new guild should include? Show & tells, bees, swaps, guest speakers (I'm dreaming here.....Amy Butler is from Granville!), sew-ins...... the list could go on and on. Let's hear from you!

I think all of those are wonderful ideas. Maybe some instructional nights presented by members on varying topics would be fun.

I think it would be fun to have a challenge...everyone gets a FQ and comes back with a small project...it would be fun to see everyone's different ideas!

LOVE the challenge idea! You can do a lot with just a FQ challenge. Or, how about an "Orphan Block(s)" challenge? Bring block(s) (1 to 6) in a ziplock baggie, throw them all in a basket, attendees draw a baggie out of the basket and use those to construct a wallhanging or other small project (tote bag? jacket? something else?). The person who pulls the blocks decides what to do with them. Finish the project in a designated amount of time, bring it back for show 'n tell, and give it to the original owner. It's always amazing to me what someone else can do with an orphan block or two that I can't throw away, but don't know what to do with.
